Theatrical Hair & Makeup Production 101
A Look & Learn Training Experience
Join us for a workshop led by celebrity wig designer, Kelley Jordan.
Where the experience is behind the scenes.
Step behind the curtain and into the real world of theatrical hair and makeup production.
This intensive, look-and-learn class is taught exactly like a professional production work call. Participants will observe how hair and makeup departments function backstage — from load-in to load-out — while learning the skills required to work in live performance environments.
This is not a salon class.
This is your Production Call.
Who This Class Is For
This class is open to anyone interested in learning how theatrical hair and makeup production works.
Hair and makeup artists are often thrown into productions without proper training. This course fills that gap by teaching real-world workflows, expectations, and backstage practices so artists can step into productions prepared and confident.
Ideal for cosmetologists, barbers, hair and makeup artists, theatre students, community or church production teams, and anyone seeking to enter the theatre industry.
